AYP Membership

AYP membership is open to all YMCA employees who are committed to their professional development.

The Association of YMCA Professionals in the United States, on behalf of its members, seeks to:
  • stimulate professional growth;
  • foster high standards of competence;
  • enrich personal lives;
  • provide fellowship, support and resources;
  • serve as an advocate on issues of concern;
  • promote Christian values; and
  • encourage career commitment to the YMCA.

Membership dues are $135 annually. 91% of YMCAs pay full AYP membership dues for their professional staff. Of the remaining 9%, payment of dues is shared by the YMCA and the individual AYP member.
